If you want to book our translation service, please pay and book it at least 2 weeks before the application deadline for submission of all documents;
If you want to book our guardian service, you need to pay and book it 2 months before the application deadline, just in case your application fails because of failed to submit application documents on time.

*1. A Chinese Name

You can create a Chinese name for yourself, write it in document and upload here since it is necessary for applying to Tongji University. If you didn't upload or fill in application form, then we will have to create a Chinese name for you. You may communicate with teacher to change it later though.

*2. A Self-introduction Video

-Please speak in English or Chinese.
-The video should be at least 2 minutes long, in MP4 format, and less than 7 MB.
-Include a brief self-introduction, your study plan after enrollment, reasons for applying to this program and university in China, and your plans after graduation.
-You may also highlight your language ability, interests, confidence, and motivation.

*3. Personal information page of your passport (valid until January 30, 2027 and beyond);

*5. Master's graduation certificate and degree certificate

For a certificate in a language other than Chinese and English, the original notarized copy of the Chinese or English translation must be provided. The notarized copy must be issued by a Chinese embassy or consulate abroad, or a foreign embassy or consulate in China;
The original pre-graduation certificate issued by the school of a new graduate needs to be provided. Upon admission, you need to bring the original graduation certificate for verification during registration;

*6. Original or notarized transcripts of all courses in the master's degree.

For a transcript in a language other than Chinese and English, the original notarized copy of the Chinese or English translation must be provided. The notarized copy must be issued by a Chinese embassy or consulate abroad, or a foreign embassy or consulate in China;

7. English proficiency test certificate

For non-English-speaking countries studenst.You may select either TOEFL or IELTS.

*8. Personal Statement

Please write the introduction according to the personal statement in the teaching language of the professional program (for example, the statement for a program taught in Chinese should be written in Chinese, and the statement for a program taught in English should be written in English).

*9. Two Recommendation Letters

riginal letters of recommendation from two associate professors or scholars with corresponding titles or above (the contact information of the recommender must be given).

10. Other application materials

Examples include acceptance letter for international student, award certificates, and admission notices of other universities.

*11. Physical examination form for foreigners (within six months) .

Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit.
