I would like to apply for the Master's Degree in Computer science and technology in China because from my current interest to study and for my future plan Therefore, I would like to gain deeper theoretical and practical knowledge in starting and managing most innovative projects. During my studies, with great hidden abilities in myself I will try to come up with the best of everything; to accompany the professors and university colleagues in carrying out research. After completion of my master’s studies I hope to be able to take part in maximizing my country’s research technology in such fields to benefit its economy and enhance the living standards of my compatriots. I believe that this Masters Program will provide me with the chance to get to know with Computer systems and affiliates me dedicatedly to the Universities ,which are living examples of the art of Computer Systems and automation of problem solving researches. Program Description
Teaching Objective
The program is designed to educate students for leadership roles in intermediate-large scale software system development and software project management.
Graduates should have a profound understanding of advanced and practical software development methods, techniques, and tools related to each phrase of software development cycles, be able to hatch up innovative solutions and implement leading-edge technologies.
In addition, graduates would be equipped with comprehensive knowledge related to information technology and expertise in certain specialty, such as enterprise computing, embedded system, service engineering and science, GIS, business intelligent, mainframe technology, and so on. Graduates should be able to immediately engage in software development and software project management in domestic or international industry, government agencies, and academia or other institutions.
Study Requirements
Course study requirements
Total credits should be no less than 30, including 18 credits in core courses，and more than 12 credits in selective courses.
Internship requirements
Students should complete an internship of 0.5-1 year to participate in software system development, including designing, implementing, testing software system and project management. A successful internship is counted as 5 credits.
Thesis Requirements
Students should complete the writing of research proposal before starting the internship. The Master degree thesis and research work should be done according to the standards of The Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the thesis defense should be passed finally. An approved and successful thesis defend is counted as 5 credits.

Degree Awarded
The student who has fulfilled all the courses and thesis requirements will be awarded the Master's Degree of Software Engineering of Tongji University.

Please write the introduction according to the personal statement template in the teaching language of the professional program (for example, the statement for a program taught in Chinese should be written in Chinese, and the statement for a program taught in English should be written in English).

Work portfolio or related achievements: limited to 20 pages, and each item must be marked with the time of creation, instructor, and owner of the work.

Such as approve letter from supervisor in Tongji, award certificates, admission notice from other universities, etc.
Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit.
